My name is Emily and I’m the newest contributing blogger for My Cocktail Masterclass!
Before I jump into the delectable and beguiling world of the cocktail industry, I thought I would share a bit about myself with you.
Nice to meet you.
I’m a 21-year-old B.A. Psychology major in my fourth year at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. I have a passion for creative writing, which will perhaps work quite well with my psychology background in whatever endeavors I take on in the future.
I’m a current contributor for the popular ‘Generation Y’ blog Elite Daily, with over 2.5 million followers on Facebook alone.
I am also the writer and founder of the Toronto-based blog Sundresses & Serial Stories, through which I document my adventures as a university student living in the city on a semi-weekly basis; this ranges from personal narratives and reflections, event reviews, and discussions on favourite restaurants and eateries that I frequent.
Additionally, I’ve been published four times in anthologies by the Poetry Institute of Canada, and my novel Amazing Grace was once published (before the publisher shut down – but will hopefully be re-published again soon).
Aside from my obvious hobby and adoration of writing, I love traveling, (gourmet) eating, gin, and white wine.
I am a co-host of Live 8 Productions’ web show Lounge Lookout, a portal for people in the service sector to provide outsiders with an inside look at what it is like to work in the industry.
This is done via the fascinating stories that come with being forefront in a place where a great deal can happen. Along with my fellow co-hosts, I interview these individuals to give patrons a look into the intriguing stories, insights, fun, and the hard work that comes along with working in the food industry.

I look forward to sharing my stories with you. 🙂
